On December 18, the 1st General Assembly (Term 2025–2028) of HAWA was successfully held, officially marking the merger between HAWA and BIFA. This milestone event opens a new chapter of development, strengthening industry-wide collaboration and setting a solid foundation for Vietnam’s wood and furniture sector to achieve an export target of USD 15 billion by 2035.
At the Assembly, the Executive Committee of HAWA for the first term was officially introduced, comprising 39 Executive Committee Members and 4 Inspection Committee Members. Mr. Phùng Quốc Mẫn was re-elected as Chairman of HAWA for the 2025–2028 term, reflecting strong confidence from the association’s members.
